Musing is the ignition of a new live music ecosystem, devoted to support in real life musical connections among artists/performers, event arrangers and all lovers of music alike.

This first Musing app is a minimalistic matching and communication app for arrangements of live music events.

The app connects people with similar musical interests as collaborators and supporters, and it’s a tool for easily arranging musical meet ups and live gigs. You and your gigs can then be effectively promoted via the app, to find the right collaborators, audience and venues for your live act, and conversely the right live acts for your venues and events.

Smart matching connects you with the right people and events best suited to your skills and interests

Users creates profiles in the app for their musical live acts or musical events. These profiles are then matched with one another in a cardified matching environment based on mutual interest according to the users respective preferences/tastes and skill sets. The matching environment is not unlike e.g. corresponding features in social dating apps such as Tinder, but has the emphasis more on auditive musical content via the users featured audio tracks.
The Musing app also features an easy to use and nice looking messaging environment where the users can chat one on one or in group, in connection to their profiles as live acts or event arrangers. The workflow of the Musing app is designed to encourage the users to meet up in real life for joint musical exchanges and performances.


Arrange and find gigs

As performer or event arranger, you can find new opportunities to perform and organize live music events through the apps network.

The user can easily create profiles in the Musing app for their upcoming live music events.
These profiles are then used via the app platform to connect the event arrangers with the desired performers/collaborators and audience participants to fulfill the needs which are specified for the event, for audience with certain musical taste and collaborators with certain skills. On the other hand people with profiles as performer/live act will be matched with the best suiting events, offering them new live performance opportunities. In the event profiles is specified all the necessary details like what, where and when the event is about, and who is invited to join. There are two main types of event profiles

Gig event can be any event where a performer performs at a venue. The gig profile also specifies whether and how the live performers will be compensated for their work, monetary or by other kinds of offerings, and whether housing, food and travel expenses will be covered.

Meetup event enables the Musing user to effectively gather people for other kinds of musical events such as a jam, a rehearsal or simply any kind of spontaneous musical hangout they like to arrange together with likeminded people. The user is efficiently enabled and encouraged to invite others to join their event both from their contacts in the app and via other social media such as email and Facebook etc, and also to market the events by sharing it over a wide range of social media connections.
